A small percentage of all the Service Mails that was sent out on 28-29 August contains corrupted confimation links. When you click on the confirmation link, you end up on a blank page and can not confirm your account.
The solution is to manually copy the confirmation link in the Service Mail, and paste it into the address field in your browser. You should then be taken to the appropriate page.
- My log in details does not work
The log in details used on the old AZ-Air (pre 28 Aug, 2008) will not work on the new site.
All registered users was sent a Service Mail on 28 August (2008) with instuctions on how to transfer their account to the new website. To gain access to the new AZ-Air, the instructions in the Service Mail must be followed.
If you can't find the Service Mail, please contact us to request further assistance.
- How do I sign up for the AZ-Air newsletter?
If you are not already a member of AZ-Air click "Register" in the Sign in box and fill out the form. Click "Complete registration" and you are set.
If you are a member of AZ-Air, sign in and click "Update profile" in the Welcome box. Tick the box for "Please send me the AZ-Air bi-weekly newsletter". Scroll down and click the "Update profile" button.
- I have heard that I can use the same sign in details on all AstraZeneca websites?
AstraZeneca is in the process of introducing a new web-platform. On the platform your e-mail address is used as your unique identifier.
This means that if you try and register on another AstraZeneca website with an e-mail address that you have previously registered, the platform will acknowledge that you already exist as a user, and will ask you only to update any information that is unique for that site.
There are currently around 100 websites on the new platform, from all over the world. For these sites, if they have registration, you will use the same sign in details.
- I can not download images from the Image Library.
If you do not receive your images within an hour your e-mail address might be incorrect. Please check your profile and make sure that your e-mail address is correct. If you connect to the internet via a modem it might create problems if the file you are trying to download is too big.
Some e-mail providers have restrictions on how large files you can receive.
To avoid this, please make sure that your presentation does not contain too many images, we recommend a maximum of ten images per presentation.Please also check your SPAM folder in case your presentation was caught in your e-mail clients SPAM filter.
