Accolate 20 mg and 40 mg tablets are supplied in blister calendar packs. Accolate tablets are convenient to take, which may help compliance in patients who find inhaled therapy difficult to take.

In a blinded study tracking the frequency and timing of patients taking Accolate, 89% took Accolate as prescribed, and only 1.2% missed both doses in a 24 hour period

Adapted from Chung et al., 1997.
