In 18 of 22 asthmatic children aged between 2–5 years, inhalation of terbutaline 500 µg through Nebuhaler resulted in clinically significant improvement in functional residual capacity. Improvement in functional residual capacity and peak flow rate was noted in all ten asthmatic children in a 5–7 year-old group.

Terbutaline delivered via Nebuhaler results in improvement in functional residual capacity in patients aged 2-5 years
