This study, conducted in nine adult patients with obstructive lung disease, showed that Nebuhaler provided lung deposition of metered dose aerosols comparable to or greater than a correctly-used inhaler. Moreover, oropharyngeal deposition was greatly reduced.

This study examined the use of terbutaline (Bricanyl) administered via Nebuhaler to patients aged 2–5 and 5–7 years. Terbutaline (Bricanyl) delivered via Nebuhaler, provided effective bronchodilation even in very young children.
